Program of Study
Southwest Early College offers an individualized program of study aimed at preparing each student for college. Students may enroll in college-level courses any time once they have received adequate scores on the Accuplacer test or have mastered English and mathematics fundamentals in our College Pathway curriculum. The SEC program therefore caters both to students who are college ready and want to accelerate their program, as well as those that need to fill in important gaps in skills and knowlege.The following comprises a typical four-year program:

All SEC requirements meet or exceed graduation requirements and college entrance requirements specified by Denver Public Schools and the Colorado Commission on Higher Education. In addition, most early college courses meet requirements for guaranteed transfer of credit to Colorado colleges and universities.
